If you are either pursuing two graduate degrees simultaneously or finishing one graduate degree and starting another, you are responsible for completing the total credit equivalent of the entire larger degree and one-third of the smaller degree.

For example, if you completed an MDIV program at 81 credits and then began pursuing an MA program at 48 credits, you would only be able to share 32 earned credits from the MDIV program and would therefore have to earn at least ONE-THIRD of the MA program in unique credits (i.e., 16 hours). This would require a minimum total of 97 unique credits earned after both degrees are completed.

When you are finished with the first program and registered for courses in the second program, you are encouraged to contact the Registrar’s Office at registrar@sebts.edu to have your Academic Plan customized so your shared credits are counted in the proper places in the new program.
