Being on a waiting list can be a terrific way to keep an eye on a class you are particularly interested in. The waiting list is maintained based on seniority, so those who are the closest to graduating will be shown priority. When someone in the class drops and you are the first person on the waiting list, you will receive an automatic email, notifying you that you have 24 hours to sign-in and register for the course. If you do not sign into your CampusNet account and register for the course, the system will assume that you do not want to take the wait-listed class, and will drop you from the course and your spot will be given to the next student.
