Our Southeastern Collegiate Partnership (SCP) is a program set up so to reduce the number of classes that a student might repeat between their undergrad and their graduate degree. There are a couple of things to keep in mind regarding the Southeastern Collegiate Partnership:
- You can test out of up to 1/3 of your graduate degree, so long as the combination of SCP and Transfer credits fall below the 2/3 threshold of total hours for a students full degree.
- Eligibility is determined by the final grade in your undergraduate class (must be B- or above).
- You can either test out of a course or course replace for an upper-level course of the same prefix.
- You can only be enrolled in two exams at a time.
- All SCP Exams must be finished prior to the start of a student's final semester.
Once you are admitted as a student, you may start this process by filling out an SCP Evaluation Form here: https://www.sebts.edu/admissions-and-aid/SCP.aspx. Once this has been submitted, our team will evaluate your transcript and send you an email letting you know which courses you are eligible to test out of after about 2 weeks.
